Phased Approach

Our assessment process will help achieve the desired results and provide optimal document management strategies.  Our goal is to gain immediate (near-term) reductions in operating costs, create operating efficiencies in its operations, and improve document management flexibility across the organization.

To address our clients need for improved document management, Document Management Solutions will conduct a survey of existing devices, appropriate document workflow processes, and gather information necessary to design an appropriate document management solution.

While surveying these capabilities, we will inventory an assess relevant applications, output volume, equipment and operating systems,  software tools, network and connectivity protocols, and other elements of the environment potentially impacted.

Objectives

  • Perform comprehensive, confidential workflow analysis
  • Identify opportunities for:
    • Cost reduction,
    • Improved resource allocation / asset management,
    • Increased user productivity,
    • Standardization,
    • Elimination of redundant devices/services,
    • Alternatives to generating hard-copy documents.
  • Offer recommendations and/or solutions to achieve desired results.

From this assessment, we will propose high-level alternatives for an integrated document management strategy.  Further (long-term) studies and recommendations in the areas of document imaging, archival and retrieval may take place following the completion of phase one.
